Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Tertiary or higher qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Current registration in AHPRA
- Membership with OT Australia ideal but not essential
- Current Working with Children’s Check
- Eligible for Medicare Provider Number
- Own professional insurance and indemnity cover
- Demonstrate a knowledge of sensory processing difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder and learning difficulties.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate time management skills
- Confidence in communicating with parents, teachers, carers, and other health professionals
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Must be passionate about working with children and have a high level of energy and innovation
